[SOLVED]How to handle renamed users

I''ve had this issue for a while now and i can't imagine i'm the only one.
How do you handle users that are renamed in AD/ENTRA after they get married for example.

For the Task and Permissions i can simply create a BPS User with the old UPN as BPS ID and use the permission migration in the administration tools.

My main issue is with form fields where the old user is referenced that are used for future task assignments.
If i keep the BPS User i created for the permission migration the tasks will be created for said BPS User but without an active substitution i've gained nothing and realistically i still assign the tasks to the "wrong" person.

I'm trying to figure out a "good" way (without manipulating the database) to replace a user in all fields where they are referenced so future task assignments are sent to the correct user.

Any tips or ideas are highly appreciated
