BPS Groups

We currently have 36.5K BPS groups.
Difficult to say.
You have to look at performance as a whole, groups, and the number of groups should probably not have a big impact on performance, but it also depends. Because if there are operations all the time and a very large number of them, it is possible that there will be an impact.
I don't mean just checking the permissions, because there could be one or more domains attached with the same number of AD groups that will be in cacheorg.

What and why has an impact on performance should be investigated with tools, e.g. checking the most loaded queries, etc.

In our environment, the number of groups does not have a critical impact on performance.
