Single-Use Access and User Verification Error
0

Hi all,

I recently moved to a subscription plan and wanted some occasional users to be able to submit requests in the workflow. To achieve this:

1. I enabled Single-Use mode in the licensing process.
2. In the admin settings, I assigned this type of license to the user.
3. I refreshed the licenses in the system to be sure.

However, this doesn’t seem to work. When the user logs in, they see the following message in the bottom bar:
"Single-use access license verification error. Please contact your administrator."
I have active tokens available, none of which have been used yet. How can I make this Single-Use license work properly for occasional users?

Thanks in advance for any guidance!

Hi Shalassin,

I've tested your scenario and in my case it worked correctly (build 2026.1.3.107). If you're using the newest version, I doubt the issue is your configuration.
Does your environment (local license service) have Internet access to reach https://activation.webcon.com/ ? Token usage has to be tracked, so it is necessary to update the remaining amount in License Activation Service.
You can read more about it in https://community.webcon.com/posts/post/licensing/356/10 , point 6 of "How do Single-Use Access Licenses work and what are their limitations?"
The "verification error" as stated in your error message, may indicate that there was a communication issue and the Single-Use usage was blocked.
