Hello there, with working much more with compact start buttons, i am optimizing our older dashboard layouts. We have a few applications, which have many start buttons. So i was wondering, if, maybe, in further coming WEBCON versions there could be the possibility to add 2 more "section layouts" like i posted in the picture. Mostly the usefull one would be: half side left, and two small columns in the right half - just for start buttons. If space would be big enough, that would be a more effic (...)
Hi there, this week i used "compact Start Buttons" for the first time. With our windows settings [FullHD, Text Scale 100%], e.g. the small 'g' is cut off a little bit at the buttom. It's no big issue, but a few more pixels in the next version should work perfect. Thanks, Bjoern Poller
There's an option to switch from horizontal to vertical layout if you click on AND/OR operators. Could this be extended to all other operators, too. :) This would reduce the scrolling and therefore improve readability a lot.
It would be nice if there were the following changes to the form rule alerts/confirmation functions: a) Modal dialog They could reuse the modal dialog from the "single row edit" instead of using the browser integrated alert/confirmation window. This would result in a more consistent user experience. Of course it would be nice to set title, body and button texts but I would be fine with setting the body at least. :) b) Allowing html for the body. Currently, views do not allow dynamic filtering on views for datetime and people-picker fields. It can be done by extending the query in the datasource. The datasource can only be changed by administrators and designers. For end-users it would by great having the possibility to use placeholders for filtering datetime and people-picker fields. My idea is having placeholders like [now] / [today], which would take the current datetime/date and also [me] for the current user.
It would be great if there would be a "Usages" options for BPS groups like it exists for the most other objects like Rules, Fields, Action Template, Data sources and so on. I'm already using two workaround 1) I created a constant for each bps group so that I can use this constant wherever possible. Unfortunately there are some cases where this is not possible. Hi, When we use reports with SOLR we have easy access to attachment's, but not always is good to see them all. When elements have many attachments the report is inconvenient and not look good. Where useful will be to set: - how many attachment's we wont to see - filter them by category or type of file on seconde side nice to have will be colapsing row to see only one attchment and after expand see more. The all will be very useful to do good reports ;)
Some context - while we bind existing processes in another application, My Task section sums number of tasks from all connected processes. I know that as user i can filter them, but my proposal is to add some option for connected processes to not appering in active tasks section at all :)
An errors section where the community can post common errors and possible solutions for them. A search by error message or code would be great. We are building one of those blogs for errors internal, but it would be great if the community can have their input on it. Also the version of WEBCON would be an useful filed to group by.

There's currently not an easy way to identify versions which have been created in administration mode. The attached picture shows two changes. Both were done using the admin mode. Unfortunately this is not visible for the second one where the admin added a comment. Maybe a new column could be added or a different colour could be used for versions created in administration mode.
It happens that special privileges have to be applied on workflow elements, dashboards or views. Unless we work on a system with different test users, it is quite difficult to check whether a certain user really has access to right artifacts or not. Sometimes i also get support tickets from customers telling they would see or not see artifacts. As an administrator oder system administrator it would be great, that we can simulate a user. Please add feature to define delay (i.e. 60 seconds) before file gets imported from HotFolder. I have a situation where scanner creates an empty file at beginning of scanning, and WEBCON gets this file before it's complete. I use script to copy files from "temp scan" folder to HotFolder, but such feature directly in WEBCON BPS could bypass this workaround. Any comments and feedback here is more than welcome :)
Dear Webcon. Designer Studio is a great tool, and visual workflow editor is a great tool too, but it's missing a compliance with visual proces definition standards, like BPMN 2.0. Can you please implement a BPMN import feature ? Sure it won't be easy (since the differences in process/workflow definitions) but still it should be posiible to implement some basic imports, even if not all data from BPMN diagrams could be imported. Hi, we have the situation, that some globals and dictionaries are shared between applications. If I export an application all other applications, which use the same dictionaries, are exported too. At least I believe that the dictionaries are the case. This applies to the current version 2020.1.3.441. Of course, I can uncheck the unrelated applications, but this is error prone. In my opinion the applications are not related, if they only share elements defined in system settings, data sources (...)
Hi, with the introduction of BPS Portal we got a few additional options were we can add "code" and where variables from the expression editor would be useful if not even mandatory. 1. Report - SQL Filter, there are a few variables there already 2. Calculated field in Reports and BPS internal view, no option to use existing variables 3. 1.) Delegated tasks or tasks received because of substitution rules are always shown as "Substitution". This confuses people sometimes, because they then might think they will receive all of the delegators tasks. It would be better to show delegated tasks as Delegated. 2.) Since we updated to Version 2019 and 2020 we lost the functionality for users to create substitutions for other colleagues. They can open the form, but cant choose anyone properly in the person fields then as Substitute. The (...)
We have a use-case, where people need to export data from an SQL-Grid to Excel for data-verification. Unfortunately the export to excel only allows exporting the header + 999 rows of data - At least i couldn't find a way to raise the limit. It would be very helpful to get a parameter for a variable maximum row count for the Export in the SQL-grid configuration. Thanks!
When User have permission to more then one entry point, the print action get first of it. User should be able to choose on witch point hi what to use.
