It would be useful to be able to group the data in the itemlist at the column level and on the main form.
Currently, we can group at the level of each step, but sometimes when we have many steps, it would be more useful to be able to set it just on the main form.

It's also counter intuitive to set it per step basis - i've had troubles finding that this option even exists, i'm up for changes :)

Raluca, it's a good idea, however it would require a major redesign. At this point, given the current interest in the requested feature, it's difficult to justify the cost of such modifications. We may re-visit this request in the future though.
