Hi,
it would be nice if we could have a global setting in General tab of each application to toggle if the application is enabled or disabled (hidden in the portal) instead of adopting user privileges.

While we don't deny that the suggested option would be useful in some cases, we also see a high risk of confusion it may cause in cases where certain apps are not visible to users due to privileges AND/OR disabled status.
With that said, we're not going to proceed with the implementation at this time.
