Hi,

it would be nice to have an option in system settings to set a global default text for choice fields with dropdown and active option "display empty element". This could be the default value instead of an empty display name.

I agree that it could be a nice touch, although given many other things in the backlog with higher priority, realistically, we won't have the capacity to add it to our development schedule.
