Recently, I found out that we have been using more user CALs than we had installed. We had 500 CALs, but we used 511 CALs – how is that possible? Why doesn’t Webcon show any message that too many licenses are being used? Webcon works fine, and all processes run without issues.

WEBCON BPS has a margin that allows for periodic license overruns. This is implemented to prevent the environment from locking if the limit is accidentally exceeded. However, an appropriate notification should appear in the portal when the license limit has been reached. Please contact us directly (pawel.jawien@webcon.com), and we will clarify the matter.

Hi Pawel, we have already contacted our partner to purchase more CALs as soon as possible. However, could you tell us how big that "license margin" is? - How many additional licenses can be used, and for what period, before the environment is locked and before that notification appears on the portal?
