Different icon in Information Panel for paths leading to negative final step
0

Hi,

in the Information Panel, steps that have the path parameter option “Set current step as finished” enabled are currently displayed with a checkmark once the path is taken.

This works well for paths that lead to an intermediate step or positive completion of a process. However, it can be misleading when such a path leads to a negative final step (for example: rejected, cancelled, declined).

Even though the step is technically finished, the checkmark visually suggests a successful outcome, which may lead to misinterpretation for users reviewing the workflow history.

Suggested improvement:
If a path with “Set current step as finished” leads to a negative final step, the Information Panel could display a cross icon instead of a checkmark.

This would make it clearer that:
- the step was completed
- but the process ended with a negative outcome

Benefit:
This small visual distinction would improve clarity and usability, especially in workflows where approvals and rejections are both common and the Information Panel is used to quickly understand the process flow/result.

Kind regards
Sébastien
