Display Process Changelog in WEBCON Portal After Version Updates

MVP

Hi,

I suggest to introduce a configurable popup in WEBCON Portal that informs users when a new version of a process has been deployed and displays the corresponding defined changelog.

Suggested features:

* Require a manually defined (or better AI suggested) changelog during process export, describing the changes introduced in the new version.
* Automatically detect new process versions.
* Display the changelog when a user first opens the process after an update.
* Show only changes since the user’s last acknowledged version.
* Allow users to acknowledge changes and prevent the popup from appearing again until the next update.
* Make the feature configurable per process.

Benefits:
Improves transparency and user adoption by proactively informing users about new features, improvements and changes.
This can also reduce user questions and support requests by making changes easier to understand without requiring separate communication channels.

Kind regards
Sébastien

Hi,

I fully support your request. Currently, we realize such feature by adding a template HTML attribute on "main application form" with URL to the application changelog PDF document produced manually for every release and with standard message saying "application version has changed, click on the link to open the release notes document". Actual release is stored in a dedicated global constant, so not every process update must actually change the version. Such HTML is supported by business rule that stores actual user click, so this notification HTML is presented until user clicks on that. Such procedure requires manual effort to prepare release notes document (in multiple languages) and the discipline in development.

Your proposal has potential to make it more standardize way, WEBCON way :)
