(...) Hi there I'm not sure, but I haven't found any information about this anywhere. Is it really the case that bps groups cannot be nested? Am I the only one who expects this kind of functionality in this context? Webcon can handle nested AD groups, why not Webcon's own groups? Or did I miss a hidden function/button/setting that makes this possible? 😅 I appreciate any help.

Every WebCon BPS Applications needs permissions to work properly. Of course best practices is to use groups: WebCon BPS, Active Directory, SharePoint ones. It is worth to some have naming convention for them. It is also crucial to know which are used within the specific Application. We can dig into the BPS Studio and check Application, Process, Worfklow, Document Types permissions. We can chec

Hi, in an Azure Active Directory environment it would be great to add an option to the people field which would configure it, whether external /guest users are selectable at all. Default value should be false. A customer worked around this by limiting the selection to a BPS group and adding AAD Groups as members of the group. No external user was a member of the AAD group. Technically t

(...) nsure if this was requested already because searching for anything has become a nightmare in this community. Still... in AD, you can add groups as members of other groups, but when using and creating bps groups , this is not possible, and managing the rights with bps groups is not the nicest in certain situations, especially if the customer has to do it. They have hundreds of users to add in multiple groups (...)

(...) someone of you has a guess what we can do. - We have an environment with 6 content databases - We have a process which manages the members of a BPS group. - We use the Add/Remove single user to bps groups to add a single user in synchronous mode (1) - Even so the action times out after 50 seconds it's marked as completed successfully in the history (2) - The duration of the corresponding synchroniza (...)

Hi all, I have installed WEBCON BPS and created a Test user in System settings → BPS users and groups list. I assigned this Test user various permissions in Global privileges. However, after logging out from the admin account, I am always redirected to the admin login URL, where I can log in only with the default Admin account

(...) Hi, I noticed that after migrating bps groups with a package, the group owner field appeared blank (grayed out). I click "Add" and can specify a person, but this grayed-out line needs to be manually deleted. Furthermore, if I didn't set a group owner, the save failed (the system cleared the group name and ID) and nothing happened. After a while, I accessed these bps groups , and the group owner field (...)
