Hello Community, I want to set form fields based on a dropdown selection which gets its data from a sharepoint list. I can set the value from the selection just fine. However I can only access the data with type ID and Name. The rest of the data has no type and does not show up for any rules I want to configure. How can I address this data in the form? Thanks Oliver
(...) It would be a nice touch if we could group Automations inside Process Configuration, same as we can group Form rules , Constants, or Business Rules. I really love how flexible Automations are, especially in case of any API integrations where global ones are created, and they might be used everywhere. Their own success makes lack of folders feel like that small stone in pair of comfy shoes ;) Closed in (...)
(...) Hi, Can you help me with advice on how to quickly delete a process that is no longer in use? I should mention that the process has Form rules /business rules/actions Thanks, Raluca
Hello community! I'm facing a challenge for which i don't see any solutions, maybe You will be able to find it. Use case: User registers new form (parent), to that form, he needs to register additional forms (children). It's 2 level tree childrens are leafs, they can't be parents. On those children forms, there are validation rules, which depends on data from the parent form, and a path
Hello there :) I have yet another problem, regarding the form validation. I've attached the rules that I've applied. What I want to do is I want to block the occurence of choosing current day while it's after 9.00 A.M. Otherwise If the day is than Today() then the result is TRUE, which means, you are able to go further. Best Regards, Igor
(...) s (Start, Reset are enough). Are these requirements feasible to be done in WEBCON? I know, in WEBCON: • There are an HTML form fields, even supporting some JavaScript functions. • There are a Form rules with JavaScript mode But, where to put what (JS, HTML, CSS) and how to combine/address/relate parts to functional stopwatches?
Hi, it would be nice having a global default button style template configuration for the button style of paths in the parameters tab. We would like to define some styles like "decline", "approve". This way all negative or positive buttons would always have the same look and everything could be controled through the global style template in system settings. In the path parameter configuration
(...) Hi, it would be nice if one could also create new groups for global fields and automations in system settings like it is for global constants, Form rules and business rules. Kind Regards Sébastien
Hi, we would like to pick a group in a form field and to use all members of this group as filter for another user picker field. Using the function GROUP MEMBERS [AD-Group Login and name] in a business rule works fine. Setting this one into an ALERT all members are returned as expected. Using 'testgroup' as string in the group picker of the function GROUP MEMBERS ['testgroup'] in a filter of
(...) Hi. we've implemented some global Form rules e.g. a developer on screen mode that displays meta data of fields (instead of turning on dev tools) - a knowledge base article will follow later. Small work in progress preview teaser in the attached screenshot. ;) Right now it is necessary to add this global form rule to all main form behavior sections manually to get this loaded. It would be great if o (...)
Hi, it would be great having an audit log or audit trail feature as e.g. Microsoft and Atlassian have it to get an easy overview of what a specific user has done. Security relevant features like last login/access timestamp to WEBCON portal, Designer Desk and Designer Studio should get saved seperately. Right now there seems to be no information available in the database when a user last used
Hello everyone, I have a JavaScript form rule with parameters that lives in a script tag in an HTML form field. And I have the issue that I can't figure out what button combination I need to press or where to click to edit the parameters. With business rules, it's in a context menu, but within the expression editor on the HTML field, I can't figure it out. And I could not find anything on the
(...) in my process. Trying to avoid future troubles I'm adding new workflows in a new process, and this leads to massive amount of duplicates of: business rules, constants, automations (fortunately not Form rules ). Let's say i have a business rule which contains some users call it 'Manager Role' - inside of the app, there are many manager roles, but lets make it simple. It's used on few buttons around the (...)
Hello, it would be great if there was an option that shows where WEBCON user groups are used similar to what we have for form fields and business/for rules. Also, an option to add description similar to office 365 groups. Thank you
I need to call a REST API from a WEBCON form and write the returned values back into form fields. The REST API performs several validations on the incoming JSON payload (e.g. date from valid, date to valid, amount valid, etc.). In case of a validation error, the API returns something like: { "state": "error", "error_msg": "Date to must be greater than date from" } Approach 1 – Autom
Hi all, I have several questions regarding WEBCON BPS capabilities and best practices: Is it possible to create printouts (printable documents / reports) that use values from form fields (e.g., Date from, Date to, Choice fields, Text fields) and generate a printable confirmation for the user? Does WEBCON BPS have a built-in task scheduler / job scheduler (harmonogram zadań)? What are p
Hi, Current Situation: Data Sources are typically static and context-independent. Each Data Source is bound to a fixed query or API call, with no native mechanism to pass parameters dynamically. As a result, any variation in use (such as retrieving different columns, filtering by different criteria, or adapting to different workflow contexts) requires creating multiple Data Sources or embeddin
Hi, right now app, process and workflow's associated form type user privileges can only be set for users and/or groups. It would be great if global business rules could be used too. A filter could be set that only global business rules with return type „user list“ can be used. This way e.g. a business admin could manage users in a dictionary and dynamic privileges would be possible with a b
(...) Hi, unfortunatelly global "objects" (business rules, Form rules , constants, automations) have no app binding functionality as data sources have. Some global constants, business or Form rules and automations may contain critical data (e.g. api tokens) that should not be useable by all devs with studio access. An option to set an object as protected and enabling an app binding to allow the usage would s (...)
(...) Hi, right now configurations are process specific and contain amongst others business rules, Form rules , constants, automations. If multiple processes of the same app or even other apps need one of those there is the possibility to create a global equivalent in system settings. Unfortunatelly global objects have no app binding functionality as data sources have. Some global constants, business or form (...)
