It would make sense if newly added form fields to a group of fields would inherit form types assignment from the group. Now, if you assign a group to let's say one of 3 available form types, when you add a form field to this group, it is automatically assigned to all 3 form fields, with no inheritance.
Hi, WFD_Att Choose columns have size nvarchar(1000). When using the 'allow multiple values' mode and having translations in the source into 3-4 languages, additionally if the ID is e.g. guid, this value is exceeded very quickly. Is it possible to increase the database size of this type of columns to nvarchar(4000)? Regards
Hi, it would be great to have the UTC time in a hover effect of a time. In the attached screenshot you see the same element but with different times. One browser is running on a server with a different time zone. Even so it's explain it can cause confusion. Therefore some way of displaying the UTC+0 time would be great. Best regards, Daniel
The history of items sometimes contains from several to several hundred or several thousand items. A proposal to add the possibility of presenting the last 5-10 history elements, because with hundreds of history elements a timeout error is received.
Hi, if a data row/ data table is based on a BPS internal view to configure, whether the names/translations of the columns should be used. The default value should be true. It's just a waste of time to not only provide the translations the first time but also to update these when the name/translation of the referenced column changes. Hi, in BPS 2023 you added possibility to mark business entity as active, which is great. What about to go further and add option to assign application to business entity? Adding an application to business entity configuration would result that it will be visible on business entity system field in particular application. There are cases that for some reason in some applications some business entities should stay hidden. Now to achieve it you have to build additional dictionares or small apps. (...)
Dear Community, You can set value for empty field (aka. placeholder) in Style and behavior section. Would it be nice if I could enable and set such placeholder value via function (like form rule). As an example, I create a form rule or define actions on change value in field. Changing checkbox field value (as marked, True) I'm setting "mark required" other related field. Hello, Right now when selecting the date for date&time picker system by default setup the time for 00:00. If we want to change the time e.g. to 7:00 and double click the "00", enter "7" system says that format date is inpropper. We have to add 0 prefix to hour "7", so it is "07". It is one more click + one more typing. Allowing format h:mm or even h:m would be ergonomy enhancement for faster entering the date & time data :) Best Regards, Dominik
Hi, it would be great if the response tab of a data source would have an additional option to download the defined response structure so that it could be uploaded. This would be even better, when the internal names would be part of the download. There are cases when you need to change the internal names and doing this again and again for the superior source and x business entity sources is annoying. :) Best regards, Daniel
A simple change, there is a button 'Ask a question' on both Forum and User Voice, lets make it different :) 'Ask a question' is good for forum, that's what forums are for. For User Voice maybe change it to something like 'Make a suggestion' or 'Share an idea' ? - it will be clear what kind of input is expected in specific subsite of community.

I can see that you are using the Aspose.NET library to show the preview of various file types. Would it be possible to add the .md files to the list? Currently if I upload the .md file I can't open it in a preview as it works for docx, xlsx, pdf, txt...
This idea is from my good colleague Sebastian Paziewski. When users enter many rows in item list the header is not visible (hidden on top). Maybe hearder could be floating when scrolling down the list. Or there could be a "copy" of headers on bottom of the list (when the list is longer than visible area of item list).
Hi, I don't know when the character limit for the field multiple lines of text in item lists was added, but is it possible to change this limit? Or adding the ability to change it? The DET_LongTextX column in the database is ntext type, so is there any reason to limit the number of characters to 1000? The substitutions could be a system field so that in the reports it would be possible to see if the instance has a substitute assignee or not instead of manually open each instance to check.
Hi, I really like the single edit dialog for an item list the only drawback is the term "Save". I'm getting more and more feedback that it is confusing and I have to agree. There's the save button on the workflow form which persists the data in the database. Then there's the save button in the single edit dialog, which will save the values for the row, but does not persist the data of the workflow itself. I wanted to change the term "Save" to "Apply" using the translations but I'm stuck b (...)
