JS RULE, Disable ITEM LIST cell

Hello,

I have a little problem. My scenario is something like this: I have an item list, with 3 columns A, B(not important here) and C and I want to disable column C(data row), if column A(choice field) has value 1#Mother, for example. Even if it's a new row just added by the user at that moment, even if it's a row added previously by other user in another step.. I just simply want that column C to be "enabled" only for a certain condition.

What I did, I followed the steps from this thread https://community.webcon.com/forum/thread/2646. But seems that for me it doesn't do the correct thing.. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
I don't know if i understand correctly, but if you want only disable some field by condition you don't need js script.
Simply put condition in configuration -> permission on certain column (see picture)

Thank you, but for data row - type of field, restrictions editability is not enabled, that's why I'm trying JS.

Oh sorry, i didn't saw that you mean data row. Ok, but data row it's already disable - you can't edit this field (enable/disable it's edit/non edit)

But the "data row" column type is always read-only... then the ability to edit constraints is not enabled because this data is not remembered in the database (you can't save this data). It is always "calculated live".
