Problem with HotMailbox setup
0

Hello Everyone,

I have an issue with Hotmailbox configuration in my environment. I have an account created by IT department with mailbox and MFA disabled.
When I try to setup connection in HotMailbox, I get "ERROR: The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized".
I don't have any problems when I try to log in to outlook directly in browser using the same credentials.

What else might be wrong with configuration?

Thanks in advance for all suggestions.

Mateusz, what version of WEBCON BPS do you use? It can be a supported TLS version problem.

Other question about your network environment:

Has your server direct access to the public internet? If you have a proxy in your environment, you have to configure it (proxy) in WEBCON BPS Designer Studio or configure direct access to Exchange online servers.

Hello Mateusz,

I am facing a similar error. Was there a solution on this one for you?
License of the user was upgraded from Exchange Plan1 to Business Standard, but no luck.

I did also a test on testconnectivity.microsoft.com and saw that there was a MAPI Error when looking up the Accounts Name in the addressbook, which returns the 401 response. But I did not get any further than that...

Best regards,

Tim
