Is it possible to hand over workflow to other user can receive it back?

I don't know what your exact business case is, but you can:
- use the standard task delegation functionality from the top menu (screenshot 1)
- or make a new path with the option to assign the task to any user (path leading to the same step) (screenshot 2)
- or make a separate step with the path as above + path returning to the previous step (screenshot 3)

You can also transfer tasks en masse per application/process or all of them using SUBSTITUTE

How excactly would i do that ? I can add a substitute however the original user can still edit/see the process

you can do it from the portal.

After making such a substitute, both users can complete the task (both the original and the substitute)
