WEBCON Item list - Allow to export rows /data from item list in read-only mode

Hello,
I would like to allow users export data from item list which shall be in readonly mode.
Right now Export to Excel feature hides when I check the item list to readonly mode.
Is it a feature / bug?
Is it planned to be changed?
Does any workaround exist, except the showing data table with the same result (and e.g. my query returns over 1k rows which is data table limit).
I am aware that the form slow downs but is not crucial in that case :)

Hi Dominik,
it could be done with some css/js trickery for sure like adding an html field below the table, and having a scirpt which would add .hidden class to the button.

The way it currently works seems like a bug, i'd file a support ticket, but untill it's checked, maybe an Menu Action button with Generate Excel File would do the job?

Hi Maks, REally thanks for quick answer.
Yes, generating Excel is really helpful - on the button / when step is finished. This is my final goal for now. But ad-hoc export is "nice-to-have". I was also just suprised that export (not import) is disabled :)

Hi Dominik,

You could disable the "Allow adding" in Item List settings. Does this help?
