Restricting domains of mail recipients

Hello, is there a way to restrict the domains to which e-mail notifications can be sent? For example, I would like to establish a rule so that e-mails are sent only to addresses within my domain (@my_company.com). So, even if I enter an external email address in the configuration, it won't be sent to that user.

Moreover, do you know whether data from test emails is stored in the database? (I am referring to the 'Send test email' function within the 'send a custom email' configuration.)?
