This issue is a known problem related to Portal–Service communication when it is configured to use TCP/IP with certificates. In this mode, the Portal and Service accounts do not have full Windows user profiles, which means they cannot properly access the certificate store, causing “file not found”–type errors when the system tries to create the certificate’s object representation.
The issue is already identified and will be fixed in version 2026.2.
For now, the recommended workaround is to switch the communication mode to WCF. If this workaround is a problem to apply, please contact WEBCON Support.
