Issue with page numbering in "Merge attachments into a Word/PDF file" action

Hi Daniel,

I don’t think this is a WEBCON issue, but rather related to how the Word templates are configured. Could you check whether the page numbering is set up correctly in the template?

Header/Footer → Page Number → Format Page Numbers → Page numbering

It should be set to:

Continue from previous section

instead of:

Start at 1

This is often the reason why page numbering resets after merging documents.

I checked my configuration and for both of my files, I have page numbering set up to 'Continue from previous section'.

Then I'm out of ideas. Maybe just this: Did you try with two blank documents, just to confirm the issue is real and not related to the templates you are using?

It was a good idea to check the new templates because it works now. So the ones I got from the client were somehow broken.
