Import backup of an elder Version

Hello together,

I fear I know the answer, but I still ask the question:
Is there any way to import an backup from an lower Webcon Version?

It happened that a process has been overwritten by a version from another environment without saving the further developed version first.
I have a backup (export) of the further developed process, but in between we updated the Webcon Server from V25 to V26.

as far as I'm aware there is no such possibility, also i don't know of any tool that you could use to 'update' that packaged app to newer version (would be a nice one to have though).

If the difference is 1 major version then I would setup up a VM on 'trial' license (make sure to unzip that .bpe file, and look for specific version number in XML, so you will install correct one*).
Then just go with a single update to version you currently run in your environments and to the export.
