Hello,

When I delegate an instance to another user, either via Delegate button or Substitutions, the user appears correctly in the CC section in the interface.

However, in Designer, under Values → System fields → Assigned people → CC, when I enter the instance number, the result is NULL. For Directly it works, it returns something..but for CC..nothing..

Is this expected behavior, or is there another way to retrieve the CC user for an instance?

But CC dosen't mean delegation or substitution - it stands for "carbon copy" and represents a type of Task assignment.

Hi,
You should know that a CC task and a substitution are not the same thing (delegation is also a form of substitution).
A CC task only allows for viewing the message (it cannot be executed on someone else's behalf).
If you add a CC task, it is also visible in Designer Studio.

Is it possible to check in the database whether a specific Instance ID has any Substitutions?
To read them somehow?

Yes, you can use the ActiveTasks table.
TSK_WFDID is the instance ID.
Pay attention to the TSK_Orgid column —> this is the TSK_ID of the original task owner (i.e., the person being substituted).
