Hello, I have a workflow and after clicking on the path button I want to assign it to the another workflow as a sub-workflow. In start step I have an attribute where I can choose the instance of workflows and after clicking the path button, this workflow will be a sub-workflow of choosen workflow. I don't know if I write it clearly :) Regards Adam

Hi there I implemented the docusign sdk and transferring docs to sign works like a breeze. BUT: checking if sent enevlopes are signed and then sending the workflow along the specified path is simply not working. I followed the docs according to this: https://community.webcon.com/posts/post/docusign-digital-signatures-in-webcon-bps/36 I do get the following error(s): WebCon.WorkFlo

Hi, as always when a new feature is provided, new requests will follow immediately. :) It would be great to see in the workflow history whether path authorization was used and which method was used. At the moment, it's not at all visible if path authorization was used at all. If the authorization is activated for existing workflows, we can't distinguish which instances have been using i

Hello everyone, Many years ago I was using PercussionPowerFlow for Lotus Notes. There were nice features in the workflow to "jump out/jump back" from/to current state to ah hoc state. This was very useful for prematurely terminating or suspending workflows. As far as I've dug into the Werbcon, I haven't found anything like that. Everything has to be done strictly according to the workf

(...) not starting and e-mails are not moved to the ERROR folder either. For other emails, it has moved them to the Error folder and i dont understand why. And just for 10% it worked fine - starting new workflow instance and moving them to the "Archive". I've attached the configuration. DB_Version_2023_1_2 2023.1.2.68 Could you assist? Thank you.

(...) Hi, I'm starting sub-workflow instance s from item list. I would like to save sub-workflow instance ID to the related column of item list. I'm using automation having FOR EACH and Start sub-workflow action. All i can see is the possibility to save subworkflow ID to the form field, not item list columns. Is there a better way than having another action updating item list with the IDs?

(...) Hi, Have you encountered this situation? I deleted some instances using the 'Remove Personal Data" then "Archive workflow instance s' action. Both actions delete the instance, but the instance's signature remains in the WFElementSignatures table. Thanks, Raluca

Hello everyone, Is it possible to set the attachment function so that users can upload files in all workflow steps? Currently, in my app, this only works if the user has editing rights for this instance. But I don't actually want that the users have editing rights on all instances and do not want to create complicated rules, that then unlock the overall rights, but immediately revoke the right

Hello everyone, I have a workflow where data is imported and instances are created. After the import, a timeout (minute) is defined which further delays the instance. A field value (multiline text) is set on the path. At this point, the workflow encounters an error (Concurrency Error). However, if I manually pass the WF instance on the path, the field value is set correctly. I hope someo

Hi all! Maybe I didn't read the manual carefully and maybe this question has been asked many times before, but I am asking it anyway ;-) Is there a way in Webcon BPS Portal to start a workflow with anonymous access (without authentication)? What we need here is some kind of public form for new registration of users. This form also should have path authorization, to verify a new registered

Hello all, I have a process that can be started either from a Parent workflow or in the workflow, using a menu option (creating a sub-task). In the start step, I have editability rules, if the user is creating a sub-task, some fields can be edited, but if the task has come from another process, those fields cannot be changed. In the URL, I'm passing the ID when the user creates a sub-task t

(...) Hi. Following Scenario: (Webcon Version 2021.1.5.367) I have an items list with (amongst others) a column for (multiple) attachments. Out of each line of the items list I start a workflow instance of another (start a subworkflow SQL) workflow and the attachments shall be copied to the new instance. Idea 1: I check "copy attachments" in the "Start a subworkflow". Issue: all attachments of the parent wor (...)

(...) the UI as well as REST, I'm confused by this change. When we are using any kind of "workflow control" action I don't see any reason why the field visibility should be applied. We are modifying the workflow instance s from "within" and they are not somehow modified by an external source may it be the UI or REST. Besides the fact that I'm confused about this change, it's strange that we can disable "Check logge (...)

I have a process that creates 10 reports each month. After creating the initial reports, I would like to clone them automatically at the end of the month, only changing the reporting month. The user (author) updates the data and submits it for verification. I proposed the following procedure: 1. I created a BPS source that lists all 10 reports from the last month. 2. The BPS data source has c

Hello, I have an item list where, upon leaving the step, each data row is sent to a separate instance into another application via a subworkflow action. However, when attachments are copied to the subworkflow using the checkbox function, all attachments from the entire item list are copied to each new instance. Is it possible to configure it so that only the attachment associated with the s

Hello, I have an item list where, upon leaving the step, each data row is sent to a separate instance into another application via a subworkflow action. Unfortunately, I have the problem that if I have more than 2 datarows, my subworkflows start the instances twice

(...) rom the search index. Processes I would like to exclude most of the time: - Dictionaries - Document template - Technical / helper workflows There are even cases, where it would be great if a workflow instance of a specific form type would be excluded. For example when a workflow instance get's "archived", we change the form type, so that we can configure different privileges. Yes, we can restrict the (...)

After updating to webcon 2025 every worfklow shows "Failed with an unknown exception Error identifier:" at the start/when reloading the page. The workflow is still usable, however this is still a bit upsetting. When pasting the error code into the administration tools, it says that no error was found. One worfklow however does show an error: ex: WebCon.WorkFlow.Data.Solr.Exceptions.SolrInit

(...) Hi everyone, I have a scenario where, in one of our workflows, we use the “Move Workflows (SQL)” action on a transition path to update multiple workflow instance s—often dozens or even hundreds. Each of these updated workflows executes several actions upon transition, including making a REST API request to an external system. The issue arises when, for example, out of 150 instances, 140 complete successfully, (...)

(...) Hello, we are using the API to create workflow instance s by another system. We are also checking if this workflow has already been created. Now to the problem: Unfortunately we are not able to access the archived instances with api-call and check for existing workflows: api/data/v5.0/db/{{dbid}}/applications/{{applicationid}}/search?search=xxxx:xxxx if the workflow instance is not yet archived we are abl (...)
