Dear Community, I have an idea to optionally disable email notifications sent to the “Replaced person” during an active substitution period. It could be useful to add a checkbox option like “Hold email notifications during my absence” (see attached file) to enable this feature. What do you think?
Hi, it when the "Incorrect rule configuration" name is thrown, it would really help, if the name object would include the parent object. I currently get this error: Incorrect rule configuration for object "Site". This got me really confused because there wasn't any rule on the field. In the end I found another "Site" which is a column in an item list. Incorrect rule configuration for object "Target sites: Site". Best regards, Daniel
We love the inbuilt analytics features. The give us the opportunity to take a quick look whats going on. Especially for smaller Applications the Advanced Analytics Framework is very useful. Currently a user needs at least the role "Business Administrator". But we do not want to give this high-level access rights (change / delete workflows) to our analysts (department manager, process manager, ....) So a dedicated Role "Analytics" (in combination with read all instances) would be very helpf (...)
Hi, it would be great if one could use nested application groups instead of a flat list. This way one could create e.g. a group for HR division and 2 child groups for apps for internal (only HR employees) or external (all employees) usage. A hierarchy with three levels should be sufficient. Hi, we use the app vsb.actions from vsb/smoodi and would like to give the name another name for internal use because we don't like to use names of vendors for products/services. We now could change the app name in the Designer Studio and with each update of vsb.actions that we import in Studio we would have to rename the app name. Hi, when using e.g. Invoke REST web service action and using optional form fields as input parameters in the body there is a problem if a form field is empty. The REST call returns BadRequest (400) because of a syntax error. That’s because WEBCON doesn’t set anything in the body. Depending of the chosen body type it would be great if WEBCON would automatically set the correct string. E.g. null if JSON is chosen. Right now one has to set all attribute values in quotes to prevent this and (...)

Hi, I just noticed, that the "Uniform view of all item list cells" check box has been removed. It's not the case that I wanted to activate it, but I wanted to deactivate it. The reason for this is, that the uniform can take up way more space than a mixed one. Especially if there's a multi line column. According to the documentation it should be there but it does neither exist in the UI nor in the XML configuration in version 2025.1.1.105. I assume that in this case the documentation was (...)
At the moment default serch mode for Value filter in reports is set as "Starts". It would be very handy to let decide Admin what defaul search mode is set for a specyfic atribute (Starts or Contains).

Hi. we've implemented some global form rules e.g. a developer on screen mode that displays meta data of fields (instead of turning on dev tools) - a knowledge base article will follow later. Small work in progress preview teaser in the attached screenshot. ;) Right now it is necessary to add this global form rule to all main form behavior sections manually to get this loaded. Hi, while we can create business rules which act similar to table valued / scalar functions, we can't pass the columns/data to them. The inner business rules are executed before the outer SQL command is executed. This comes in really handy in a lot of cases but also has it's limitation and will require creating repetitive code. An option "CREATE GLOBAL RULE" would be helpful if we want to turn a "local" rule to a "global" one. Hi, until two hours ago, I would have said, that you can't use AI to help with SQL command generation and documentation. Then I started playing around VS Code. My POC switched my opinion completely. Can something like this be added. :) The first two images is the generation of an SQL statement and how the result is interpreted by the Designer Studio.
