Subject: Assistance Needed – Missing "Default Sorting" in Reports After Upgrade
Hi everyone,
We hope someone can assist us.
We recently upgraded from 2023.1.3.29 to 2024.1.1.187 and noticed that the integrated reports on
dashboards no longer retain their default sorting.
When we attempted to adjust the sorting, we realized that the corresponding menu option is missing
_(including normal reports opened over the menue)_.
As a temporary workaround, we are replacing the dashboard reports with the original reports
(sorting implemented before upgrade). Although the menu is not visible, the saved condition still
functions. However, this is only a short-term fix.
We checked the documentation (https://docs.webcon.com/docs/2024R1/Portal/Reports/#id_7),
but it appears to contain outdated screenshots. In version 2024.1.1.187, the tab previously labeled
"Columns available in reports" is now named "Dataset Columns" under the "Columns" section.
As shown in the attached image, the "Default sorting" section is missing. It may have been relocated,
but we need your guidance to find it.
We have successfully managed all other changes so far and will share our solutions by the end of
next week (maybe finding some more changes with going live on monday).
