Is there a way to automatically exit "edit mode"?

Hi Zakhariy,

if the users close the tab /navigate away the checkout should be released after 1 minute. If the other users can still not work on the tasks after 2 minutes, there could be an issue it may be worth creating a support ticket.

We did encounter an issue with the automatic release of the checkout in a 2023 version. This only occurred for some users other's weren't effected by it. Their checkout was released just fine.
It may be worth to look at the change log of the newer versions.

Hey, you can use js function which press buton when user close tab/window:


window.addEventListener('beforeunload', function() {

var button = document.querySelector('#EditToolbarButton');

if (button) {
button.click();
}
});

i've tested it - and you are right, there is checkout in 1 minute after closing/leaving the form. It means that in my case somebody is just leaving the form open.

thanks for help, my problem was not as bad as expected. The automatic checkout works fine - it turns out that somebody is just leaving the form open.
