Hi everyone, In version 2021 of BPS Designer does not allow to run designer on the server on two different users (on two different connections to server). I get a resource usage error (in picture). Do you have an idea how to deal with it? Alternatively: I tried to start BPS Designer locally but I get a message saying no connection with the license. I need to open some port in server or something? Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi everyone, if someone uses field references, process rules or similar in translations you should verify that the correct ids are used after importing the application in a new environment. Otherwise you may be in for a surprise. The attached image shows that the translated text uses the old variable ids and only the ids in the original text have been updated to match the new environment. Hi, Has anyone encountered this yet - we have a couple of yellow exclamation marks in the SWE configuration under "Data Presentation". These fields are not showing on the form. I don't think permission should be an issue, since everybody has access to these fields. Are there any configuration details I should check? Any suggestions? Thanks!
Hi everyone, I've recently upgraded WebCon from 2020 to 2021 and everything went ok except quick search. The "search everything" in our main application results in no elements founded. However when switched to "All aplication" view I can see all results and everything works fine. I suspect that the WEBCON Search service and its index is not up to date. Is there a way to rebuild that index?

There is probably a bug in ver. 2021.1.3.205 on webconapps.com. If you click Generate preview in Designer studio and save the process, the preview is available (when clicking on the step names in the Information panel in front end). As soon as I make some changes, e.g. modify a field name or any other modification and save the process again, the preview is not available anymore. I noticed also that the preview quality (generated image) in front end depends on the designer studio size on the mo (...)
Hello everyone, in a webcon environment I currently have two business entities (ID 1 and 4, see the attached screenshot). From now on I only want to use the entity with ID 4. Is there a known way to migrate all existing instances from ID 1 to 4 so I can delete the business entity with ID 1 afterwards?
Hi all! Maybe this is a know issue, but we are wondering at the moment if it is possible to import an exported application package to a Webcon installation with a different version. We currently have an exported application package (.bpe) from version 2021.1.3.205. We are planning to use cloud services from Webcon which is supposed to be the latest version (which currently is 2021.1.4.55). I'm following the article https://community.webcon.com/posts/post/substitutions-in-webcon-bps-configuration/228 but there 's a part on image 6 that is not showing anywhere in my Webcon version. Hello, We encountered a situation where out of multiple users that have access to an instance, can see it and work in it without problem, but when only one of them searches for that specific instance in the search bar he does not get that instance back at all. Did anyone encountered something like this and do you know how to solve it, or what the possible problems are? Regards, George
Hello everyone! I have such a case: There is a process, where new element is being added on the first day of the month and giving it signature containing next continuous number. Someone accidenly deleted the last one and the created new one. Nowe we have documents 1,2,3,4 and 6. Is there a way to change the signature of 6 to 5? I can delete the number 6 but what will reset the numbering so that the new created one will be 5? Any ideas community? :) Michal

Hello, Currently it always just creates the new subworkflow instance and the user has to manually click on that instance to view it. Is it possible to redirect immediatle upon creation to this new instance of the subworkflow? Preferrably in the same tab.
We have a form that needs to stay open for a length of time before auto moving the flow into a cancelled step. This length of time is user selectable when creating a new record. Talent Req is created and posting is set to stay up for 30/60/90 days. Is there a way to get the Timeout interval value set to the value of a form field? (If the user chooses 30 days, that will be the timeout value, 60, etc...)
We get an error message by using filter function in the report for calculated columns (using substring). I use the following formula. SUBSTRING(WFD_AttText8,1,2). The report view shows the correct values in the calulated column. As soon as I want to filter this column, I get an error message. Does anyone else have the problem or am I doing something wrong? Hello. Is there a way to use a stored procedure as datasource instead of a view or table or Select statement? I use at the moment a query on two tables (UNION) which has an inner join on another table. The speed is not really breathtaking, thus I wanted to use a stored procedure where I can perform all the timetaking steps already on the SQL server. Regards Klaus
