Hi everyone, I just had the need to get multiple rows of data without having access the the SQL database. I didn't want to create a field for this one time use case. Unfortunately the 'Test' result window of the expression editor, didn't have the option to copy the result. Luckily I thought of the Administration Tools\Search Logs. As you can see in the attached picture, I was able to execute an arbitrary SQL statement and could export the result to Excel. :) Best regards, Daniel
Hi everyone! I've recently heard that we are soon to have electronic invoices in XML format (in Poland) instead of PDFs. This should shorten invoice processing in Webcon as we could read fields straight into the form with no errors and no OCR verification step. This sounds very good, but will Webcon be ready for this? Will there be actions allowing to read data from xml structure and map them to the form? Or maybe there is something working already? Michal
Hi All we have a large report build in one of our processes (list of all invoices which contains >350k items) which is now not loading for users. we have rebuilt it in SOLR and it is fast like TGV train but we had some calculated columns based on item lists which we need to rebuild. Is there any manual, KB article that describes this or anyone having expierience?
Is there any method of removing unwanted application? Normally you can't do that from Designer Studio. When an application has any processes or other elements it requires to remove them first - the Studio prevents from having orphaned elements. It is ok unless you want to remove the whole application. The application I want to remove is quite complicated and removing all sub-elements would be very time consuming and tricky to find out which element should I remove first, etc. Is there any othe (...)
Hi everyone, let's be honest the search option is more of an autocomplete. Nothing wrong with this since you can still get some useful information. Nevertheless, I prefer searching this site using a major search engine. Since I don't like to do repetitive tasks I put together some JavaScript which speeds this up and can be executed on any (public) site by clicking on a bookmark. When creating an SDK action there is an option to use the Logger Class to create logs (https://developer.webcon.com/2021/resources/online-documentation-sdk/html/2c254e06-3ac3-3a82-7c44-dae3d829d1e4.htm) Does anyone know where these logs are located (log file on file system or a specific database table)?

Yeah, the new version is released and based on the change log, these are my three highlights: 4.11. Using variables representing configuration objects’ ID Item list improvements. Ok, this is cheating but there are a lot of useful changes :) 4.17. Report views in the navigation menu I didn't list the new WEBCON BPS Designer Desk because it's not comparable and would probably be on everyone's top list.
Hello All, Big project regarding to reservation system is ahead of us. And one of the very useful feature will be gantt chart on the form and as web part as well. So is there any plans to implement Gantt charts in next Webcon BPS versions? Or maybe there is posibility to prepare Gant Chart in HTML attribute? I mean off course Gantt charts in Modern Webcon BPS, because we wouldlike avoid to built new app on classic SharePoint, where gantt charts are available.

Hi, will there be an alternative to the current option the "Searching structures" offers in 2026? https://community.webcon.com/posts/post/platform-compatibility-roadmap/236/10 This is one feature I'm using on a regular basis. Either when I'm creating a new application and I don't want to bother with reports at this point in time or when doing support in production environments. Am I'm the only one who is using it? Hi, While testing version 2025.1.1.105, I noticed a bug that when the data source is disconnected from the application, it cannot be delated. Only after refreshing the entire designer does it allow the application to be deleted.
Good morning, After updating BPS to version 2023.1.3.240, we encountered an issue in our production environment. The problem concerns an SDK add-in that enables sending XML data to MSMQ queues. We needed to update this add-in because, starting with version 2023, the methods were changed to asynchronous. The add-in relies on an external DLL file, Experimental.System.Messaging. Hello, I have an template with a simple excel file that has a table named "TableExcel". This table has 4 columns: DATE,CUSTOMER,VALUE,CURRENCY. In designer I created an item list with 4 colums that have the same name. When I map the columns in designer I use "Sheet1!TableExcel" and on the right i drag the columns from the item list. Every time i run the action i get : Invalid cell name If i try to map to: Sheet1!A1 I don't get error but also I only get the first value from the item list, (...)
Hi, After upgrading to Webcon2023 (ver. 2023.1.2.44) we found errors during Form rule executions on page load. It is caused by trying to hide/show/set/etc attributes that are not visible on the form. In the 2022 versions, there were no issues with the same configuration cases. These errors appear during Diagnostics and additionally prevent saving the Diagnostics Session. Hello, I'm trying to find a solution to my problem. Let's say I have a workflow with a START step, INTERMEDIATE and a FINAL step. Intermediate step is assigned to Group B by default, but I need that after 5 days, if no person from this group took any action, to automatically assign the task to Group C. Is there such a way to do this? Thank you.
Hi guys, I have created a subworkflow that I would like to use to implement a signing process. I copy the required attachments from the parent workflow to this subworkflow. How do I get the changed (signed) attachments back into the parent workflow and how can I then exchange the original documents there?
