1. Technical Application Supervisor could be shown on system dashboard (if not empty) + could be added as element on custom dashboard 2. Technical Process Supervisor could be shown on info panel (if not empty)
We have a use-case, where people need to export data from an SQL-Grid to Excel for data-verification. Unfortunately the export to excel only allows exporting the header + 999 rows of data - At least i couldn't find a way to raise the limit. It would be very helpful to get a parameter for a variable maximum row count for the Export in the SQL-grid configuration. Thanks!
Hi, the "new" confirm/alert functions are really great and please don't remove the option to pass HTML as a parameter. :) Yet there's always room for improvement. Could we get additional/optional parameter for the title, yes and no button? Depending on the context the labels "Confirmation", "Yes" and "No" may not be the best. Hi, A useful option would be the ability to automatically revoke the reading entitlement that remains after a task is assigned. Such an option could be checked on the task assignment action and in the task configuration on the path. Operation similar to the option on the add permission action where the permission expires after the path. Regards.
Hello everyone, each time an instance is edited via a path, the attachments are duplicated in the database, even though they may not have been customized. Would it be possible for the attachments to only be duplicated if the current version has actually been edited? Best regards Marc
Hi, this one is related to this post: https://community.webcon.com/forum/thread/5796/15 While I encountered that we can no longer set fields which are read-only using workflow control actions, I have run into the same using single field value actions. Currently 2024.1.1.88 we need to make sure that all fields we are settings with action have at least to be marked as "read-only (cannot be modified except by JavaScript)". Hi, I'm currently upgrading processes from 2022 to WEBCON BPS 2024 and encountered another unexpected change. Both "Start a subworkflow" actions "now" verify whether a field is visible. While in one case I didn't declare two fields as visible in the start step I have a visibility restriction in another. Since the visibility restriction of uses the 'Source' field value (1), which is set by the "Start a subworkflow" action, it's always false. Therefore the field 'Assessment answer' is neve (...)
Hi, I'm currently upgrading processes to WEBCON BPS 2024. I was expecting issues with custom JavaScript but encountered also one with the "Add attachment" action. While testing I got this error: Error occurred in add attachment action: Copy attachments. No attachments I'm not sure when, but it seems that WEBCON BPS now checks whether any attachments exist which can be copied over. If they don't exist an error is thrown. Dear Community, I would like to propose a change in WEBCON BPS to improve the ease of copying field values to the clipboard. This could be introduced as an optional setting within the field options in BPS Designer Studio. I particularly like how this feature is implemented in the Azure portal: a "Copy" icon remains hidden until you hover over the field, at which point it appears, allowing for quick copying to the clipboard. Break with error - possibility to use multi line in "operator" I tested few scenarios with multi text and with HTML tags is possible to use HTML tag - this is GOOD but ... multi line is missing :/ and you need to put everything in one line .... is not user friendly and if you have <enter> in prepared "text" then ... the operator in "text box" is skipped all "text" after <enter> P.S. I propose a change in the configuration of the default dashboards so that it is possible to define different main dashboards for different user groups. E.g. Invoices. A different approach to invoices is expected by the person registering, another by the person describing, another by the accountant, another by the payment team, etc.

Hello everyone, we use a lot of custom email templates. One recurring issue is the lack of options for design and name changes for "Go to Element" and "Go to Application". Additionally, emails for users who rarely interact with WEBCON often find the "Go to Element" button confusing. It would be desirable for us if the names were customizable and the fields could respond to HTML design instructions. Ideally, it would also be great if images could be used as buttons for that fields. (...)
Probably in 2023 is not present "used" in path "properties" ... I'm using 2022.1.4.404 and if i want to see where the path is used ... I need to "delete path" because: - in path - I don't have attribute property "used" - on automation is not showing where on path is used ... - if is deleted it show connection but there is no "link by click" to jump to Automation / form automation to path see attachments ...
Administrators can configure the allowed types of attachments globally. However, there are situations, where we like to only allow certain content types, e.g. pdf's, that are a subset of the globally allowed attachments. Currently, the only way to restrict is the usage of validation rules. For usability reasons, it would be much better, to be able to restrict the allowed document types. With a little bit of javascript it is possible to set the accept attribute of the input field. The (...)
Hi, it would really be great, to always see the menu bar, so that you don't have to scroll all the way up to save a dashboard. Ok, maybe it's just us who have long dashboards, as we added some CSS/JS so that report tiles float left. This way, we can have more tiles in one row while they take up less space. Generating a Word document, converting to a Pdf and deleting the Word afterwards, so the result is a Pdf only, are often used document generation steps. Unfortunately, it is not possible to overwrite an existing Pdf when converting a Word document to Pdf. So we usually have to delete the original, but I would prefer having an updated than a new Pdf. I would wish there was an option like the Mode in the "Generate/Update a Word file" to select whether to update an existing file or to create (...)
