In case of the MSSQL data source this is fine for text fields and for choose fields, integers/decimals we can work around it. Either by using the available functions or using format functions and the current user language. In case of date time there's no work around. Hi, for compliance and data protection reasons it would be great if there would exist more permissions. A junior developer e.g. doesn’t need access to data sources, system settings. An idea would be to have more permission roles for apps, data sources, system settings and so on. It would be nice too to have some kind of environments as they are known in Microsoft’s Power Platform. So different teams could work on their own apps and even create new apps in their environment. Disable e-mail notifications when substitution is enabled

Dear Community, I have an idea to optionally disable email notifications sent to the “Replaced person” during an active substitution period. It could be useful to add a checkbox option like “Hold email notifications during my absence” (see attached file) to enable this feature. What do you think?

Nested application groups

Hi, it would be great if one could use nested application groups instead of a flat list. This way one could create e.g. a group for HR division and 2 child groups for apps for internal (only HR employees) or external (all employees) usage. A hierarchy with three levels should be sufficient. Configurable alternative display name of apps

Hi, we use the app vsb.actions from vsb/smoodi and would like to give the name another name for internal use because we don't like to use names of vendors for products/services. We now could change the app name in the Designer Studio and with each update of vsb.actions that we import in Studio we would have to rename the app name. Empty input parameters in invoke actions

Hi, when using e.g. Invoke REST web service action and using optional form fields as input parameters in the body there is a problem if a form field is empty. The REST call returns BadRequest (400) because of a syntax error. That’s because WEBCON doesn’t set anything in the body. Depending of the chosen body type it would be great if WEBCON would automatically set the correct string. E.g. null if JSON is chosen. Partners Microsoft Entra Id guest accounts don't count against license limits

Hi, in BPS 2024 an option was added to the license that customers can use SDKs provided by partners without an SDK license. This is made possible by providing the public key which is then somehow integrated to the license. I'm wondering whether it would be possible to also integrate the WEBCON and partner Microsoft Entra Id domain names. Restoration of deactivated "Uniform view of all item list cells" functionality

Hi, I just noticed, that the "Uniform view of all item list cells" check box has been removed. It's not the case that I wanted to activate it, but I wanted to deactivate it. The reason for this is, that the uniform can take up way more space than a mixed one. Especially if there's a multi line column. According to the documentation it should be there but it does neither exist in the UI nor in the XML configuration in version 2025.1.1.105. I assume that in this case the documentation was (...)

Changing default settings on Atribute filter in a report

Global on form load form rule for all forms

Hi. we've implemented some global form rules e.g. a developer on screen mode that displays meta data of fields (instead of turning on dev tools) - a knowledge base article will follow later. Small work in progress preview teaser in the attached screenshot. ;) Right now it is necessary to add this global form rule to all main form behavior sections manually to get this loaded. Creation of global rules in rule fields

Hi, it would be nice if one could not only chose "CREATE RULE" in the context menu of a field supporting rules. An option "CREATE GLOBAL RULE" would be helpful if we want to turn a "local" rule to a "global" one. Hi, it would be nice if one could also create global form groups in system settings and not only single global fields. A use case would be address fields street, number, city, zip, country, ... with advanced configurations to data sources, reg exp and so on. Section of category attachments configurable

Currently, since version X of Webcon when you add 4 or more attachments, all categories collapse with attachments. Suggestion to add a collapse configuration that you could set in the workflow/process from how many attachments you want the attachment category sections to collapse or default everything expanded. What do you think WEBCON community?
