Hi Bjoern, we'll evaluate such case performance-wise and assess the feasibility of making changes to the platform.

Hi Bjoern, in such case you should be able to customize the e-mail notification template by removing the standard buttons (links) and replacing them with your custom ones.
I don't have a ready-to-use instruction for you at the moment, but this shouldn't be too tricky. I'll also pass it as a suggestion for a new article to the knowledge base.
Now it is even more interesting.
It seems, that the transaction was still running and that's the reason why I didn't see the workflow instances. Neither in the Portal nor in SQL Server Management studio. I didn't think of making a dirty read.
I checked this morning and now they show up. It just took about 7 hours to complete everything.
I have now idea how this may have been implemented but they have me respect that this worked out fine. :)
Hi Daniel,
thanks for the suggestion and sharing of all of your findings related to the case. We've already forwarded them to our devs for analysis.
Hi Krystian,
I'm not sure that I understand what you mean with "single table".
1. Should the data of the existing tables be merged into a single table but there should be one table in each database.?
2. Should the five tables be left as they are but there shouldn't be duplicates in the other databases?
3. Something else?
Merging all tables won't be possible, as they serve different purposes. For example the GroupRelations contains the id's contains the ids of the groups and their users. This can not be merged to a single row.
I'm quite sure that WEBCON has thought about of any option whether the duplicate tables could be removed, synchronizing is always a pain and you won't do it, if there's a way around it.
One problem for example is, that limited bps_user account can not access data outside the current database. Even if there would be a view mapped to the config database in the content database, this won't work.
Best regards,
Daniel
Hi Krystian, at this point we're not planning any changes in to the area of the user sync and the storage of related data.
Hi,
if the browser window is small enough, the actions of the item list are collapsed to a context menu.
It would be great if this popup would contain information in the DOM about the about the source.
For example by adding a data-key attribute to the top element with the value item list and row.
<div data-key="SubElems_1026_data-index_2" class="th-dropdown-content de..
Why would this help:
Before there was the context menu we could use css to hide a specific action button in some steps using a simple HTML field. This still works, but if the window is to small, than the context menu is displayed and the action is visible again.
Yes we could go into the steps and modify the forms, so that it is allowed to use the delete action in the first two steps, but in the next 4 steps only editing should be allowed.
I personally try to prevent changing anything in the form on step level this is deemed to be forgotten. Using a field which can be displayed/hidden in the field matrix is more obvious.
Actually I and some others would prefer the implementation of this user voice. It would make everything a lot easier.

Hi Jegan,
I would also prefer it if the actions could be displayed in the first column instead of the last one. Or at least to have it configurable.
For the time being I have two tips for you:
1. I don't know when this was added but you can limit the height of the item list in the layouts tab. This way the Form doesn't get the 'large'. It works really well. I've noticed it in BPS 2022 but it may have been added in an earlier version.
2. I accidentally discovered that holding this shift key and using the scroll whee of the mouse will let you scroll horizontally left/right in some applications for example in edge.
Best regards,
Daniel
While searching for another post I stumbled upon this.
Even so I would still prefer this solution, there has been some changes in the later versions.
1) In a small window a context menu is shown
2) In a larger window but with a long item list the actions are now floating.
Hi,
I think everyone of use has run into this error more often in dev/test than anyone wants to admit.
Message
TIM_ID: 15 - WEBCON BPS Timeout actions error: checkout exception occurred.
Instance ID (WFD_ID): 5907
WEBCON BPS Timeout ID (TIM_ID): 15
Could you we gain a global setting, with which we can disable this check / allow the timeout to undo the checkout?
I completely understand the reason and I would never disable this check in production but on the dev environment I would enable it without a second thought. :)
Best regads,
Daniel

Just a reminder ;-) : https://community.webcon.com/forum/thread/1028?messageid=1028
Hello there,
with working much more with compact start buttons, i am optimizing our older dashboard layouts.
We have a few applications, which have many start buttons.
So i was wondering, if, maybe, in further coming WEBCON versions there could be the possibility to
add 2 more "section layouts" like i posted in the picture. Mostly the usefull one would be: half side left,
and two small columns in the right half.
With this layout options designing dashboards and grouping buttons would work much better.
Thanks,
Bjoern
P.S.: Maybe i forgot the third version 25% - 50% - 25%, if someone want to place a central image.
Hi Jack,
ad 2. In a SSQL similar function exists https://dba.stackexchange.com/questions/124915/how-to-remove-line-breaks-in-ssms
Hi Bartek,
thanks! It still workaround but nice to know that :-)
