Hello, for AND's and OR's inside business rules we have ability to change layout from horizontal to vertical, which helps to keep it nice and tidy. Few times i've used concat, which got really long - see attachment. Maybe we could get vertical layout for concat? :)
Hi, at the moment we have to decide whether we want to send a standard or custom notification (mail). While some users receive only a few mails this way, other receive to many and want to receive only a summary on a scheduled interval. While we can and have implement a configuration for an application on process level this is still limited and makes the automations less readable while the option to send a mail with a task can not bused at all. For a customer we need ISO week numbers integrated into the date picker feature. Sales managers schedule promotions with forecasts, which they need to transfer to demand planners. This process relies heavily on identifying the correct week number. I don't know how is in Webcon 2023 or next 2024 but in 2022 I miss groups in Automation and then add groups in picking ...
Hello, I would like to make a suggestion or find solution for branding case. We got customized White Template (as a copy) + we customized coloring of navigation sections by global CSS (setup in System settings in BPS Studio). Result is visible in the attached screenshots. Such coloring works fine for light templates, but not for dark one. And I thought that Additional CSS per template would be a nice feature in the product. And as workaround for now - could you please give me a hint how (...)
Hello everyone, I have a question. We are migrating Webcon to version 2023. I checked the table [dbo].[AdminAPILogs], and since the last version in 2022, there hasn't been a single log in this table. Hello Everyone, We have some challenges with Archiving in Webcon BPS, so we have some ideas to improve. 1. Issue: you cannot setup field availibility for archived instances Proposal: there could be a 3rd form editor like standard/mobile form have. Or/and additional field matrix setting controlling visibility on archive form. 2. Issue: Instance level privileges are not inherited to archived instances. I propose that the "Multiple lines of text" attribute should include an optional checkbox that will activate character counting.
There is a possibility to attach an email by dragging it manually from outlook to the attachments area. By doing so, user is asked about category, to which attachment should be added, but it's visible later only in the history, and not on the form. I suggest, that categories should be also visible on e-mail conversations tab, so when user selects it, it is not hidden.
Hello, I'm having a case, where I need to display last comment, author of the comment, and date on a Data Table attribute. I don't want to move the comments, to parent flow, as this will create a lot of mess due to lots of child flows. I thought this could be a built in feature, same as we can select last comment in buisness rules context, we could access it from reports, and webcon data sources, so it would be easy to display it.
An error (lack of privileges) in executing the Generate/Update a Word file triggered from the Menu button by a user who had privileges to read an instance but not to edit it. This is happening after upgrade to version 2023.1.2.124. It was working in previous version we were using. It would be great if we can go back to allowing users with read only access to generate a word file. Thank you
Hi, I think it would be beneficial if we could have a place in the global configuration where we can define custom default values for the steps and paths of dictionaries / document templates. For example I always rename the "Dictionary step" to "Entry". Of course, I also define translations for the the step and paths. Therefore it would be great, if we could define the translations for the step and path on a global level too. Best regards, Daniel
Hi, Maybe it would be a good idea for a new automation to be created by default to receive the name of the element for which it was created. This would help keep the system tidy, reduce the workload for each time you assign a name,. And for people who prefer other names, nothing will change because you will have to enter your name anyway. I believe it would be useful to allow "tagging" people (example - @jaroslaw) in comments section. After such a mention, the person would get a notification with a link to the workflow. What do you think?
Dear All, maybe in Studio there could be a check option if signature format is used by any other process or form type? When you have many processes it gets harder to keep all acronyms unique. What do you think?
Could you please consider adding a setting that would align all input fields left/right/center? It's a little annoying having all fields aligned left and only floating-point values aligned right.
