Hi everyone, if you are going to use field references, process rules or similar in translations, these won't work once the process is transferred to another environment. See this thread for more details/images: https://community.webcon.com/forum/thread/1149 In my opinion this is an error, so I created a ticket. The answer was, that this is the intended behavior. Hello there, with working much more with compact start buttons, i am optimizing our older dashboard layouts. We have a few applications, which have many start buttons. So i was wondering, if, maybe, in further coming WEBCON versions there could be the possibility to add 2 more "section layouts" like i posted in the picture. Mostly the usefull one would be: half side left, and two small columns in the right half. With this layout options designing dashboards and grouping buttons would work muc (...)

Dear WebCon Team, we just updated to 2021.1.4.55 and recognized, that the so long working function "Attachments Count" does not work properly any longer on the intital step of a workflow as long there is no Instance ID. For Example I would like to validate if there is an attachment uploaded or not (see picture). If I do a path on the step itself --> Instance ID --> the rule works fine!!! I think it is a bug. Good morning, we are using WebCon 2020 on mobile devices more frequently. Those mobil devices are not allowed to see all start buttons (upper left in the picture / on the upper right the buttons are set to be visible). If i use one dashboard row where only some buttons have visibilty rights, everything is ok. Just the allowed buttons are shown. If the not allowed start-buttons are in a seperate row (buttom screen in picture), there are viewable dummy pictures instead of empty space (upper left (...)

Several of our workflows have multiple attachments that are usually quite large, some can range up to 100MB for a single file. I would be nice to have a progress indicator of attachment uploads so our users could be sure that the file actually finishes uploading and doesn't leave the site prematurely.

When adding a new list item into a SharePoint list, you have the option in BPS to capture the ID of the new list item you have added. Then it is easy to add attachments to this list item using that ID. When I add a new document to a document library, the listID capture option is disabled. It would be really helpful to be able to capture this list ID for a document library as well so that then I can use that to add custom meta-data to the document library for the document I have just copied to SP (...)

Hi everyone, most of the time an error raised by the "Validate form" action can be fixed by the current user. It would be great if we could have a new configuration option "Focus field" where you can set an expression/field. When the error is displayed on the form the "Set Focus" action is executed and the configured value selected. I assume that the "Set focus" action already toggles collapsed groups/other tabs. Hi, When We put Report on dashboard using functionality of massive action or quick path not refreshing data in report. When we use it on report it refresh data. The functionality of report when it use as report or report on dashboard should be the same.

Hi, When we use reports with SOLR we have easy access to attachment's, but not always is good to see them all. When elements have many attachments the report is inconvenient and not look good. Where useful will be to set: - how many attachment's we wont to see - filter them by category or type of file on seconde side nice to have will be colapsing row to see only one attchment and after expand see more. The all will be very useful to do good reports ;)

Some context - while we bind existing processes in another application, My Task section sums number of tasks from all connected processes. I know that as user i can filter them, but my proposal is to add some option for connected processes to not appering in active tasks section at all :)

Quick Manual should be entry point, to see quick manual right now user must enter form to start process first. The order shall be the other way: first read manual, later start process.

Currently our report-menu for some processes is getting longer and longer. One reason for that is the fact, that some people have issues understanding they have to choose a report and can then navigate on the other side of the form by the views we have set up for them. Mostly people who count their daily clicks and tell you to change the system if they have to do 10 more a day, because you have set something up the way it makes sense. Dear Webcon. Designer Studio is a great tool, and visual workflow editor is a great tool too, but it's missing a compliance with visual proces definition standards, like BPMN 2.0. Can you please implement a BPMN import feature ? Sure it won't be easy (since the differences in process/workflow definitions) but still it should be posiible to implement some basic imports, even if not all data from BPMN diagrams could be imported. Hi, no idea about the future plans for the portal, but you should definitely consider adding some more functions, like: - user defined left menu - pages, not just dashboards - option to turn off the default dashboard - dashboard HTML element should have some kind of HTML editor, not just a narrow window for code pasting. It's hard to make any changes without copy/paste to external editor - dashboard text element is too narrow, it should be resizable ! Almost impossible to edit large amount of (...)

Can you please add an option to encrypt fields, and user configure who can decrypt ? Why ? Becouse, in some business appliactions, administrators not always should be able to see some confidential information send in BPS forms. Senders should decide.

In new versions o WebCon BPS using Word templates are now using GUID identifier witch enables using it's in all environments. But the functionality o Word templates are very simple. It's now enough flexible for control conditions for hide, show etc. information's. For example: You can not show header of table, but empty row is always. In HTML you can control this. Adding using GUID in HTML templates give the more flexible possibility to build templates witch information

1.) Delegated tasks or tasks received because of substitution rules are always shown as "Substitution". This confuses people sometimes, because they then might think they will receive all of the delegators tasks. It would be better to show delegated tasks as Delegated. 2.) Since we updated to Version 2019 and 2020 we lost the functionality for users to create substitutions for other colleagues. It would be useful to be able to group the data in the itemlist at the column level and on the main form. Currently, we can group at the level of each step, but sometimes when we have many steps, it would be more useful to be able to set it just on the main form. Thanks, Raluca

It happens quite often, that the length of a textfield has to be limited. This can easily be achieved by a reqular expression. However, input fields with inputmode text allow the usage of the maxlength attribute. It would by much nicer to restrict the user to type in more than the defined letters rather than showing a red error message. Therefore, it would be great to introduce a max length property for text fields

Hi everyone, it would be great if there would be some option to show the id of a choose field in the browser. Maybe in the history or history in admin mode? Use case: Two users with the same display name and there's currently no option to identify which user was selected without relying on the database. Best regards, Daniel
