The preview generation functionality should be somehow improved. Currently it is bound to how big the designer studio window is and implicitly how big the resolution of your monitor is. We have some very big workflows that won't fit on any screen and the preview would always be blurry and unusable.
Hi, I've run into an 'issue' using the 'Generate a Pdf file' action. https://community.webcon.com/forum/thread/770 I used 'new' HTML / CSS features which haven't been supported or even been available by the provided version of the 'Winnovative HTML to PDF Converter' engine. WEBCON BPS utilizes version 7, while the current version is 15. Hello there, with working much more with compact start buttons, i am optimizing our older dashboard layouts. We have a few applications, which have many start buttons. So i was wondering, if, maybe, in further coming WEBCON versions there could be the possibility to add 2 more "section layouts" like i posted in the picture. Currently there's no option to manage e-mail notifications in Webcon BPS. It would be a nice feature for users to be able to manage from which process / step they want to receive notifications and from which not. Just like they can personalize portal main page. Now if user are assigned to a lot of applications, it usually create mail rule in it's mail client which move all notifications to one place, which provides to situation when some really important notifications are missed by users.
An errors section where the community can post common errors and possible solutions for them. A search by error message or code would be great. We are building one of those blogs for errors internal, but it would be great if the community can have their input on it. Also the version of WEBCON would be an useful filed to group by.
Hi, it would be nice, if we could define, whether the description field is displayed is displayed when uploading a new attachment. If we are using the old "add attachment" option we can select the category. If we are using the new "add from camera" option, we can overwrite the filename and set the category. Hi, it would really be nice to have an option to store the created attachment id in a field /parameter. Right now I have a "change value of single field" action afterwards which retrieves the id of the last created attachment. It should always be the one which was created just before. I would like to propose a change to the Process Import/Configuration grid. It would be great if the names: Data sources, Fields, Constant etc. were in a separate column (if it were possible to sort/filter by this column it would be great :-) ). With many data sources, finding the one I don't want to import is not easy.
Hi, I would like to propose the ability to use HTML formatted text in calculated columns of reports. Now HTML tags are displayed as plain text, e.g. we can use only one link in row or not able to split/format text into lines. I remember that there was such possibility in Sharepoint reports and I miss it :)
Hi, in my opinion it would be a really helpful, when the 'user privileges' tab on the process is displayed in red if any form type privileges are defined. I would use the color red as it's used in other cases, where the inheritance is broken like with forms.. Even so this is not strictly inheritance with the user privileges it will help to realize that there may be different settings. Hi, it would really be great to add a custom title or even a description to a new diagnostic session or in the overview. This would make it easier to identify the session. It would nice if the user could provide the details but it shouldn't be in the "end and save session" dialog. Hi, if the browser window is small enough, the actions of the item list are collapsed to a context menu. It would be great if this popup would contain information in the DOM about the about the source. Hello, for AND's and OR's inside business rules we have ability to change layout from horizontal to vertical, which helps to keep it nice and tidy. Few times i've used concat, which got really long - see attachment. Maybe we could get vertical layout for concat? :)
