When the user sets up a Subworkflow using the SQL version, it's not possible to save the ID of the instance created. This is only allowed doing other type of actions and most of the times returning Concurrency Errors in the system. This is allowed already in the Subworkflow normal version.

Hi everyone, I would be glad if the following changes would be implemented: 1. Adding the new Input placeholder 2. In case of data tables the display name should be used instead of the column name. This is especially a problem if the data source is a BPS internal view. WFD_AttChoose1 isn't really helpful for translating. :) 3. There's a slight labeling issue. The PathAndTasks sheet doesn't contain the correct label for object type 33. It should be PathDocumentation instead of PathDescription. (...)

Data table attribute gives opportunity to export containing data to Excel using its default configuration, the sole problem is it can only export top 1000 rows, when its quite common to display bigger chunks of data in that form field. Often there are scenarios, where the length of a text input field should be limited. This can basically done by means of a regular expression. However, this would still allow the user, to enter more than the allowed characters. It would be great, to have a property in the configuration section to limit the maximum length.

Good morning, we are using WebCon 2020 on mobile devices more frequently. Those mobil devices are not allowed to see all start buttons (upper left in the picture / on the upper right the buttons are set to be visible). If i use one dashboard row where only some buttons have visibilty rights, everything is ok. Just the allowed buttons are shown. If the not allowed start-buttons are in a seperate row (buttom screen in picture), there are viewable dummy pictures instead of empty space (upper left (...)

There is a problem with using Designer Desk in version 2021.1.3.178. The error indicates no license (license exceeded), but the list of available and used licenses alone indicates that they have not been exceeded. Three users are entered as authorized persons for Designer Desk on the Designer studio side in Configuration. No editing in this field is possible at the moment

When adding a new list item into a SharePoint list, you have the option in BPS to capture the ID of the new list item you have added. Then it is easy to add attachments to this list item using that ID. When I add a new document to a document library, the listID capture option is disabled. It would be really helpful to be able to capture this list ID for a document library as well so that then I can use that to add custom meta-data to the document library for the document I have just copied to SP (...)

Hi everyone, I'm not sure with which release the application group headers are transformed to lower case, but could we get rid of it again? I can live with all upper case, but transforming all characters to lower case after the first one is simply not acceptable. - Abbreviations look like word - The corporate design may define how some words are written - It looks like a spelling error. This is even more true in German, all nouns are written with a capital case. This applies to 2021.1.2.101. (...)

Currently selection attributes, such as picker, poll the database in such a way that LIKEs are always placed in the WHERE clause. The data that the database returns are then filtered according to the picker configuration (exact match, contains phrase, starts with). In my company, we collect customer data from several CRM systems. For one of them, we have the customer's data materialized in the dictionary database. Hi, When We put Report on dashboard using functionality of massive action or quick path not refreshing data in report. When we use it on report it refresh data. The functionality of report when it use as report or report on dashboard should be the same.

We recently had a presentation of WEBCON BPS for a new customer. They came up with the question if not only changes of an element are being kept in history, but also views. So we need to define the definition, what as to be considered as a view. Sometimes you can tell a lot from what you see on a report already, but keeping track of this would be too much in my opinion. The easiest and most pragmatic way to keep track of views would be opening a preview or of course a form. Maybe also viewin (...)

On reports we have the great possibility to execute mass actions by passing in some parameters. It would be a great having a similar kind of dialog menu action, where we can configure some informational text (e.g. as header/footer) and of course one or more fields as parameter. The configured parameters we then can use to execute an action. The dialog could contain a cancel and a okay

Adding possibility to add SQL row as a column could be also a workaround to achieve that. Right now (BPS 2020...434) is is only possible to add instance number from system fields to mass notifications.

I have a few suggestions for improving the single row editing experience: 1. Adding a next/previous button to the modal dialog so that you can easily go through the rows. 2. No fixed height for modal dialog. The max height of 400px makes it quite hard use the modal dialog. It would be better if the available space is used. I already added a style overwrite for this. 3. Currently our report-menu for some processes is getting longer and longer. One reason for that is the fact, that some people have issues understanding they have to choose a report and can then navigate on the other side of the form by the views we have set up for them. Mostly people who count their daily clicks and tell you to change the system if they have to do 10 more a day, because you have set something up the way it makes sense. Hence: instead of discussing they get a report. Anyways... I (...)

In many tasks we need the same info from the current user. So it would be nice, the user have to write down this only once. Preferred into an additional and self-configurable dictionary, that's called via user-icon. In this way the user can run only one instance.

Hi, just a simple, easy request - can you please add a usefull code editor to SQL rules, JavaScript rules and HTML fields details ? Sure, one can copy paste the code from external editors, but it takes time, having an embedded editor would be a great feature.

Hi, if we have a chart with a detail level, you can click on a chart element to see the elements, these information are displayed as tiles. At least if the chart is located in a row set to "one-third column" and the chart is located in the smaller part. It would be great if we could also define the display mode of a report for a chart. This display mode would be applied to the detail level of the chart. This would allow us to get a better overview even if the number of columns is limited (...)

A nice add-on feature to reports would be If we could use the widget field directly in the report table. By this users could benefit from viewing rich info widgets directly from report to check the whole project portfolio health for instance.
