Thank you so much both! I have limited columns (form fields) but I would have about 70,000+ rows (workflow instances) that will keep growing. Would that be too large data to be loaded to a dictionary. If not is there best way to load the data or any article on it?

as Karol mentioned, the data for one dictionary entry is limited by the columns. Here's also a post about this:

There's no software limit regarding the number of entries (workflow instances). There may be physical limits when the performance of the SQL server degrades but this is another topic and depends on your environment.

I don't know if I understood your query exactly, but the data we can add to the dictionary defines the type of attribute that is used in the dictionary.
You can check this in the database.


If you mean, for example, how many, attributes of the text line type you can add on a form. this is also defined by the number of columns in the database in the [wfelements] table.
It looks different in different versions but in general, for example, in the current one we have 80 columns available as a line of text.
We have 90 chooses (plus global and person type) etc.

If you want to use Active Directory integration (AD users synchronization, AD Actions), the server with the WEBCON BPS Portal installed has to be a domain member.
If you want to use eg. Entra ID (former Azure Active Directory), you can install WEBCON BPS on a standalone server.

I haven't worked through such a scenario but you probably need to configure the machine to have communication with the domain controller (NTP, DNS,)
I am not a networker then I will not help more.


But the connection to some domain must have if webcon is installed, and you log into it probably with some domain account ?

We have our domain but the webcon server is not added to any domain.

Does the webcon server need to be in some domain?

You can also check the communication by running chrome as different user , and in the credentials enter the credentials, along with the domain name.

it seems to me that the server does not have to be in the same domain, but the domain on which you want to perform operations must have a trust relationship established.
Can you indicate the domain you are writing about in the BPS user sync configuration and download its members?
