Hi, I want to use the action - Send a custom email and get email addresses from a Dictionary. I checked "Selecting addresses by SQL/CAML query" and as Data source: i chose my Dictionary When i write a SQL query it doesn't filter. It shows all columns and rows. In my workflow i have a choice field Vendor name (from a Dictionary - it contains Vendor Name, Vendor Email). When i pick that vendor, i want to send an email to that vendor. Can you help? Thanks.
Hi all, I would like to ask if anyone has configured or knows how to have a bulk update in a item list. For example, the idea is to have many lines and select the ones that will move from Project A to Project B and then all of those lines will create a subworkflow to request an approval from person X. Also, is there any option to select prior the lines that will be in the item list? Like a pop-up table with all the lines, and then only the ones chosen will be in the form. Thank you!

Hi We recently changed the version of Webcon from 2020 to 2022 and I came across this problem. In the report we used a calculated column to show comments: (SELECT ISNULL (dbo.f_clear_description(wfelems.WFD_SIGNATURE), 'None')) However, from what I can see in database, the comment format has changed and now when using this function I get an error: "Invalid length parameter passed to the LEFT or SUBSTRING function." Hi all! We are using the action 'Invoke REST Web service' a lot, but there are some limitations I am struggling with. I want to download an Excel file using this action, using an external REST service. My first approach was to store the response body into a multi-line content field. Hey there. What's your preferred way of hiding form fields on page load? In my scenario form fields should remain hidden, unless a form field rule from another field was triggered on value change that 'unhides' the target form field. I've been doing it the following way: 1. Make the field that should not be shown upon form load visible in the Field Matrix 2. Hi, I'm having trouble converting the contents of an attachment to BASE64. On the system step I have a TimeOut that calls the transition path after a minute. In the traversal path, I have an action that calls a web service. The frame uses a business rule to convert the content of the attachment to Base64 (the business rule returns the text value of the last attachment). Hello, I'm facing a challenge. I'm starting the workflows from a hotmailbox so I have no control over the attachments order. I'm also using the "Show first attachment on page load". I believe the system shows the attachment with the lowest ATT_ID. Is there any way to control which attachment is shown on page load? Thank you, Martin
Hello community! I’d like to pick your brain about something that has been bothering me for the last hour. :) Does anyone have a solution for this? User enters the date in the date picker field (AttDateTime) and hits TAB: - if the value is 8 digits, then SET(AttDateTime) = CONCAT(using values from AttDateTime) - if the value is 6 digits, then SET(AttDateTime) = CONCAT(using values from AttDateTime) - else do nothing I can't seem to find a way to do that. In the last 2 weeks several customers have asked me if it would be possible, that if a comment is required for a path and the error windows pops up, the comment can be entered directly in the popup window and the path transition can be done from there? When trying to set the comment using JS the path transition validation won't recognize it and still trigger the error. Has anyone of you an idea of how to solve this or maybe already solved it? Dear Forum I am trying to remove SharePoint list items in one of actions. It works well when I pass a sharepoint item ID, but I do not have this available in webcon. Hi Guys, I'm wondering if anyone else has been having this problem. When i try to add (upload) a file to an item list using a local attachments column there seems to be a hard 4MB (4096kb) limit. When i delete the line, save my process and then link an existing attachment it works fine but for my purposes this is not acceptable behaviour. Is there any way around this? I've got a contract database workflow. One of the fields on the form is Project/Department field which is the same as user department in AD users list. Two users: Adam and his boss John.
